A year ago, I started a podcast.  I love it.  I'm thrilled to have done it.  And yet, I started without any idea of how it would go and where I would be after a year.

 

Every time we start a new business or a new hobby or try a new activity or learn a new concept, we learn lessons that apply to all different parts of life.  This week I'm sharing what I've learned in a year of podcasting, and how those lessons will matter for you.

 

Let's talk about:

• Perspective - there are many different ways to look at things;
• Accepting compliments - you want to do it well;
• Social media is not the be all end all;
• Amazing people doing amazing things can be a valuable part of your life;
• It's ok to get loud or silly when excited; and
• They key to success is to START.
